MBCU Caravan
Here are three from the 1981 Monterey Bay CA Unit Caravan to Mexico. Crossing the 28th Parallel. There is an osprey nest on the sign. The Bambi on the left is my parent's #1183

If people are going to play rough and use children and wildlife in their photos to advance their chance of winning, I have no choice but to show the baby bear photos!

Hackberry and Seligman Arizona 2008
Step back in history at the old general store in Hackberry, AZ. Returning from the Four Corner's Unit Rally in Willimas, AZ.
The second picture from Seligman is a hyped picture of an antique dashboard in front of a Route 66 Hamburger Stand.

This photo was taken in July on the way home from International. It was our first stop at Devils Tower and we were mightily impressed.

On the road with our Airstream
The first picture was taken of the bridge over Roosevelt Lake on Arizona 188 this spring.
The next two were taken last summer, one at the top of the Bighorns in Wyoming, and then as we were crossing North Dakota on I-94.

Airstream in Highlands Hammock
Our favorite Airstream road picture was taken last February in Highlands Hammock State Park, Florida. For background, the first photo was taken Saturday afternoon while walking through the park. The tree trunks are covered with Resurrection ferns that appear dead or withered. Our entry photo was taken the next morning as we left the park, shortly after a rain shower ... Resurrection.
Here is a link to additional information on resurrection fern, Resurrection fern.

Just have time to get this one in before the end of the month. Backside of Hawley Lake in the Arizona White Mountains over Memorial Day weekend.

And another month comes to an end. I have to say that this was a hard decision for me. I have looked over the photos repeatedly and it is tough. Before I say who won, I want to make some comments on some that are winners too, just not this month.
Shari (insideOut) your photos are so vivid, so crisp and Airstream inclusive. I really liked them a lot.
Brad (flyfshr) The airstream in the snow, mountain road... very haunting and foreboding. Loved both of them tremendously. I felt emotion looking at them.
Gary (Safari62) Excellent body of work. I love all of them and to be honest you were very strong in running. Almost neck and neck with...
Sharon(GT1963) who also had an incredible body of work.
However, this is a subjective contest and I had to choose a winner. Of all the photos submitted, my clear favorite one is Dave's (munimula)

I probably did not attach that right. It was post number 68. I think the composition is excellent. like the abstractness of it. The colors are spectacular and it feels like a crisp autumn morning.
There were many good submittals, thank you everyone for the opportunity to be the "chooser".

All I can say is WOW! What a nice way to start a new week and a new month. Frank, thanks for the kind words about my submission for this contest.
Earlier in the year I invested in a Nikon D60 and a couple of lens in hopes that it would motivate me to take more photos of our wonderful lifestyle - Airstreaming. It's been a real learning process in terms of camera setting selection and such. With the help of my photography teacher and a fellow Airstreamer Jane, I have been consciously working on my creative angles. Thank you Jane. And Frank... thanks again for noticing.
I will start the December contest today.

The technical aspects...
I think that FLYFSHR, Brad, gets extra credit for the technical aspect of not having any footprints in the snow. How'd he do that?

I cannot reveal my secrets. It is quite possible I jumped out the passenger door because I knew this was such a great photo op.
Thanks for a great contest Frank. I appreciate the honorable mention too.
