Nice one! Reminds me of the opening scenes from the film, "What's Eating Gilbert Grape."

I'm still "driveway camping." This month's subject might be a good excuse to hitch-up (if I can figure it out) and actually go somewhere!

Rte 66
Okay, this is a stretch. This is me at 14 at my 'assigned' task of hooking up our family trailer, a 1950, 26' Pan American trailer to our 1948 Nash Ambassador tow vehicle. The picture was taken 'somewhere' along Rte 66 in 1952. We (family) were moving to California from Michigan. Yes you do see a 'dolly' that is connected between TV and trailer. That is an early WDH.

FYI
The Dugway was cut for uranium trucks in the 50s. I was told it was not paved because it does not met minimum highway standards for width, grade, etc.
