It's all good.

This has become a trend when someone wins that's not in the forum frequently. They just forget or don't get to check in regularly. Maybe they're camping in a super cool spot with no Wi-Fi. Patience.

It will work out and be fine even if it doesn't start on the first if the month.

OK, sorry this took so long to get the June contest judged. Our excuse -- 3,700 miles from Virginia to Washington State to Denver as we're now officially homeless except for our 16' Bambi as we move across country.
Last night was spent in Denver watching all the fireworks, real and natural.

But enough about that trip -- on to the winners: we liked Steve&Debbie's #2 photo of the family around the campfire as best representative of best times to enjoy our Airstreams. Liked the xmas lighting as well to add to all the campfire reflections.
Honorable mention is Wayne&Susan's Buffalo literally in the campfire. Looking out the door and seeing that monster eyeing the thin aluminum of the Airstream must have been unsettling. (we got caught in a buffalo traffic jam in TR Roosevelt NP once and thought we were going to end up with many holes in our Bambi -- so we appreciate the photo).
So thanks to all those who submitted, all memorable moments with our homes.

Thank you KellyCreek. Airstreams really do look great at night with the shiny aluminum reflecting lights. Also we like how it doesn’t tower above you like other trailers. Makes for a cozy campfire. Nice pick for photo theme KellyCreek!

Now are we to pick the next theme for photos or someone else? Not sure how this part works.

Yes--as the winner of the June contest, you have the honor of starting a new thread, titling it something like "July 2019 Photo contest" selecting the theme, and ultimately declaring the winner.

Great job and great photo!

The official/unofficial rules are posted as the first post of the Photography thread.

You will see all the other monthly photo contests there so you can Title your new thread the same with current month.

You can also see what some of the topics have been in the past. You get to decide if an Airstream needs to be in the photo or not.

Then cheerlead the posters along with encouragement which also keeps the thread in the recently posted current area.

First we want to say how much we enjoy your photos each month. Thank you for choosing our campfire photo for the June contest. So with no further ado, the theme of this months contest is... (drum roll)… “Then and Now - Photos of Nostalgia, Beginnings and Change.” We are looking for photos of your camping experience growing up, your first Airstream, or how camping has changed. This can be one or two photos but one picture must show your Airstream. Two photos, with one showing your vintage camping experience and the other your current Airstream, would be really intriguing. Airstream’s current redux of the Globetrotter and the Caravel sparked our interest in the Airstreams of the past and had us reminiscing about family camping as children and how camping has changed. Our own experience of buying our Airstream was started by seeing a derelict 1966 Shasta in the woods. We started imagining what it would be like to explore the country together in a travel trailer. We would love to see your stories in pictures! What photos do you have that make you smile and remember the good all days, or make you appreciate how you camp now compared to your past? Or did you prefer the old days of camping better? We can’t wait to see what you have to say! Happy remembering

All you have to do is "go up" in the organizational structure -- see the blue arrow symbols [ ">"] at the top left? Click on "Photography" and then look at the top of the list for "July 2019 . . . "
