June Photo Contest: Bloomin’ Airstreams
June Photo Contest: Bloomin’ Airstreams
Thanks to all who have chosen to post their photos for everyone to view. Thanks for all the generous donation of prizes. And thanks to those who left comments along the way. This months judging was harder than you would think…..there were many excellent photos depicting the theme, and many interpretations of the theme, which I think everyone enjoyed.
The Winner is post # 45 (A rose by any other name….). This photo brings the viewer into the image at which point one cannot seem to look away. The rose has become part of the Airstream and the Airstream part of the rose. Congratulations to clancy boy. We will be looking forward to your theme for the July contest.

I used to teach that photography teaches you to ' see'. Clancyboy, go to the head of the class! However, there are many on the Forums sitting in the front row behind you............this time. Congratulations  .

OMG - 
OK OK - thank you all.... I am at a loss of words. I am so sorry for being late to report in - I am in Denmark for a trip and will not be home until August. I do have internet access from the hotel and later from the ship at sea, I'll be in the North Atlantic this summer. I will post the July contest today (4th of July) when I get my head on - it's 0330 as I am checking this.
The photo was a last minute shot as I was walking out the door to my truck to go to work. I looked, as I always do, at the CCD and there was the reflection - I grabbed my camera and snapped 4 to 5 shots and this was one, pure luck.........
Thank You again - I am honored to be in such great company.
