June 2006 Photo Contest

It's a new month and time for a new photo contest. I'll be "hosting" this event so let's get out there and get those shutters clicking. It's camping season.

I'll put in the first camping photo but since I'm the "host" I'm ineligible for the winner's prize. Just a little something to get this contest going.

Klevan, funny, I was heading north and you were heading south...looks like you went by in the morning, way too early for this slug to get going!

Wilson arch. Love it. 25 miles south of Moab.

Yeh, I was dealing with way too much morning sun right in the lens. But, I just can't sleep in or hang around camp on a travel day. Besides I was craving that mid-morning milkshake in Monticello. Here's another great shot.

Ken, is that the same trailer you had at Monument Valley in June, 2005?

Hey David,
No, when we met you we were pulling a 2000 Safari 27. Since then, we decided to return to our more Vintage roots. The 2000 was just too trouble free.

Hope you are both well and loving life.

Ken, we are about to enjoy the Summer. Working like the dickens right now to have things in order for a fast trip to Nashville/Chattanooga by air over July 4th.
Next will be Camp Bluegrass at Levelland in mid-July, and a family reunion over near Mayhill end of July (provided they don't close the forest for lack of rain).
We may sneek a trip to Chaco in there someplace, maybe Moab....then it will be time for Kathy to be back in school with the 5 yr olds.
Time flies when you are Aluminating.

Come on folks. We need more photos of your Aluminati Travels during these summer trips. A crisp Lincoln is awaiting the winner.

Brad,

Would that be a Lincoln Continental?

Don't you wish. Wrong kind of Lincoln, Bill. A crisp $5 Lincoln.

If I win, can I opt for a half-sawbuck instead?
