July 2022 Photo Contest

Thanks Fjord F-150 for selecting the sunset image of our evening paddle as the winner of the June Photo Contest. It's been a hectic holiday weekend, but I think we've come up with a suitable topic for July's challenge.

It's Rally Season!!! And as we prepare to head to our first WBCCI International Rally in Maine, I'd like to suggest a photo celebration revolving around rally activities: rigs, potlucks, folks, pets, activities, etc.. Photos should include one or more airstreams (hopefully yours) and a brief description of the rally attended.

We haven't been to a formal rally yet, so are posting these as proxies since they are kind of a rally.

To clarify, "Rally" doesn't necessarily mean a WBCCI event, Big Red Numbers or even lots of Airstreams... we use the term loosely amongst our group. Be it a weekend with friends or an Airforums getogether, I know you've snapped some pictures...

This year is the 60th anniversary of the foundation of our Airstream club, #125, Region 1, the Quebec Canada & Maritimes Airstream Club.

We just settled into the campground in Erie, Pennsylvania; stop 3 on our way home from the big International Airstream rally (tomorrow is a stop at the AS Mothership to see the new Heritage Museum and tour the factory).

Anywho, I'm a little surprised there aren't more folks out camping together and sharing the rally spirit. That said, it was a tough call between a couple of you, but I feel SteveNDebbie's posts 4&5 seemed to capture the spirit of what a rally really is: getting together with friends and family (or total strangers who quickly become friends and family).

Honorable Mentions go to all who played this month and a special shout out to Saggy1021 for a really cool fireworks picture, it just didn't quite say "rally" to me.

Good luck and congratulations, SteveNDebbie, looking forward to a fun August theme.
