July 2019 Photography Contest

Back in the day, my official height was precisely 5 feet 12 inches. **

** per my draft card. I gave the lady at the typewriter my exact height, 5’ 11 3/4 inches. She said, “I’ll just round that off”, and filled out the official form. I’m now and forever officially 5’ 12” tall.

My dad leaned forward to point out the silliness, and that’s the first and only time I ever hit him to stop him from saying anything.

I still find computer programs that will not question that number.

Double Touche, should have realized how many good-looking youngish (draft card) men there would be to answer that.

Jim Flower you look quite tall between those trees that it appears you're trying to separate from the ground.

July 2019 Photography Contest

Ah, I used to be young and crazy, but now I’m no longer young...

When the barkeep asks me if I’m over 21, the answer is, “Yes, at least three and one-third times...”

Hello Jim, now how about a photo of the “now” that shows you and your 25’ Airstream? [emoji991][emoji16]

Excellent! Thanks Jim. Now you’re in the “contest”[emoji6]. Other than the gray hair you haven’t changed a bit!

First, the aftermath of a severe thunder/hail storm in Hill City, SD MANY years ago. The Surburban needed a new hood and roof, as did the tent trailer.

Then, our current 27' 2018 Flying Cloud.

Some of the posts on this thread are fantastic!

I think that is a 1957 Sovereign of the Road 30'.

Hi FaN
Looks like we had the same barber. Had to dig back a bit but do recall him because he had some great hit songs. Jim

50 years of camping with my parents. We have matching Classics now and you will usually see them together.

Of course I have less hair and a few more pounds now.
