July theme - Under your awning
Bambi Camp checking in- been living the life in the wilds of the Adirondacks and internet is wishful thinking- sorry for being late!
my Sport 16 has a small awning just enough to keep an open door dry in a driving rain- so let's see how you live with your awning open (awnings for the big AS) - show your wings spread- Base Camps let's see life in your attached tent (tents). Pretty photos are good as are educational ones- what is your outside gear, living the life in the desert, the rain forests, and where the road takes you?
Returning to the wilds for a few weeks and will try to be a better curator for the July Photo Contest - looking forward to your life under the awning

Hilton Head on a hot afternoon
We use our awnings primarily for shade, especially when the temperatures would otherwise keep us inside. We normally tilt ours to drain rainwater but there was none in sight that day.

First trip out with our new 25' Flying Cloud. Awning provided excellent shade for the side of the Airstream with noticeably cooler interior temperatures. Sadly the gnats were unstoppable so we did not set up chairs outside!
