Kevin, hope you are enjoying your time in Barbados this week. I will start off with mentioning the wonderful runners up of the January contest.

First mention - Post #35 photo #1 - The puppy - awesome angle, cute pup, hot rear door Airstream. We deliberated for most of the second half of the Super Bowl over this one and the winner.

Second mention - Post # 59 - The horse. Amazing setting which includes the beautiful horse and Airstream. Looks like good time were happening there.

Third mention - Post #22 - The buffalo - how does a buffalo find it's way in front of an Airstream??

Winner - Post # 56 - The lobster - captures an amazing energy and frantic tension that the lobster may have been experiencing at the time. My first Airstream was a '78 Excella 500. The brochure that year featured a couple enjoying a lobster dinner with the Golden Gate bridge providing the stunning backdrop. I feel like if Airstream was going to include a lobster in a 2009 brochure, this shot would be it. Congrats to ItsIt for sharing this wonderful and artful photo.

We look forward to your February contest. Hat off to Pittsburgh for their sixth Super Bowl win.

Dave, it is an honor to win, thank you. With so many cute pets in the contest, it is a surprise for the hard shell of a crustacean to be the winner. However I do feel that this photo depicts the luxury that Airstream camping can entail, and that dining is a major part of Airstream life. Now that you have mention the well known photo of the '78 Excella 500 brochure, that has inspires me to pick the February theme, which will be "Windows on Wheels". Look for the February contest to be posted shortly.
