January 2025 Photo challenge
Happy new year! As the winner of last months challenge, I get to choose the topic for this month. Because most of you are fully enveloped by the realities of winter, I figured we would start off the new year with warm thoughts. So, since I am sitting on a warm beach in Baja, the topic this month is "The Beach". Any photos of your Airstream by a body of water will do, preferably during a warm time of year. Let's see what you have!

We did Fort Worden in 23 along with a loop from Lake Sylvia to Pacific Beach and back up to Port Townsend and Fort Casey. All the sites on that trip were nice.

Wow, I was too busy looking at your rig to notice the background but now that you mention it, I see the ferry in one of the shots.
We do have a lot of nice spots near the water in this area. Hard to take a bad shot

Almost empty ferry to Galveston
This picture is 10 years old, taken on the ferry from Bolivar to Galveston, and was literally almost empty. Our first Airstream, 25' Classic. Today you wait in line to get on the ferry

More from Point Hudson in Port Townsend Washington. One of our favorite places to camp. The last picture is from when we were there for a month. We are doing a month there again this April.

Worst Picture Nomination
I looked and looked and apparently we have never camped next to a body of water much less a beach. However, I did find a picture with water in it. On our way back from JC last year we stopped at the Pike Lake municipal campground in Warsaw, IN. It was April and cold, rainy, and dismal.

This is on our list, but I don't think we'll make it this spring. Where did you camp? When did you go? Sounds like it was worth it.
We miss our Bambi, she was a great little camper. We just had trouble stuffing a 150lb Newfoundland into it.
