This is at Sun and Sand RV in Okanagan Falls BC. It’s full hook-ups right on the beach at the south end of Skaha Lake. We stayed there every year until last year they went full time leases. It’s a pretty sweet location with some incredible rail trails to ebike explore.

Ms. Laisy at the Lake
Ms.Laisy is our 28 ft RB Flying Cloud. We love to back up to the water , fall asleep to the moons reflection and wake up to a kaleidoscope of ducks and birds. We are at Santee Lakes Preserve, 7 lakes of reclaimed and recycled water are home to a host of waterfowl and fish. Minutes from all San Diego has to offer (and our Granddaughter ha ha).

Could only find a couple of photos with our Airstream near the water, and it wasn’t particularly warm that day!

If you find yourself in Newfoundland these 2 places have lot to offer. The first 2 pictures are at a Lions Club campground on Fogo Island. You have to take another ferry to get there but worth it. Lots of hiking opportunities.
The last 2 pictures were from John Cabot Municipal Park in Bonavista. The city offers 3 nights of free camping at this location near the lighthouse. There is puffin viewing at the lighthouse (1/2 mile away) and we had daily Whales playing and jumping in the channel behind where we camped.
Both places had great sunsets each day.

Great pics! I assume you took the ferry across from Nova Scotia to Newfoundland, how was that with the trailer?

No issues for us. We took the short ferry from Sydney to Port Aux Basques(sp). About 6-7 hrs and not bad. I would highly recommend booking a cabin, especially for the night trip. We did it for both ways. Make your reservations for both ways when you book it. If not, you may not get the return date you want. In addition, there is more chance of the long ferry having delays.
We had some people we met that booked the short one over and the long one back from St. Johns. Bad weather or equipment problems cancelled that one and there was a 12 day wait until the next one. They ended only having a 7-day delay by driving back and taking the short one for the return trip.
