It's called paper camera, for IPAD, just got it ourselves. Very cool, played with it Sunday with the grand kids. Makes ones that look like sketches.

Fun!!

Thanks! Took me hours to do... Well, actually, it took about 3 minutes, including the vignette.

Actually, I used Corel PhotoPaint, as I am a died-in-the-wool PC guy and have used Corel for many, many years. But a lot of paint programs include what they call "special effects" features that let you do all those goofy things.

Yes, Apple has always been more of a graphics platform since they first hit the market. But up here, the top iPad now sells for around a thousand dollars.

So, I just took the 2007 Toshiba laptop I had been given when I retired, bought more memory, a new and bigger hard drive, and upgraded the operating system to Windows 7, and for less than $200 had a fast, capable portable that would run all my programs, and give me half a terrabyte to bring all my photos along with me.

Chacun son gout (to each his own).

They are pricey little gadgets.

My son bought the new one and so we bought his IPAD2 32gb from last year. Will be perfect for traveling.

Consider their eternal struggle with light, color, dimension, perspective, the genius and pain of Monet and van Gogh.

Could they ever comprehend that their life passion would someday be diminished to ...

I know, I was thinking the same thing.

It's still fun.
