February 2021 Photo Contest
Many thanks for choosing my submission as the winner of the January photo contest. There were so many outstanding images that I can only think that Richard’s love of fishing may have influenced the selection process: lots of trout and Kokanee salmon in that lake.
Topic for the February contest: Winter with an Airstream. Photos from warm locations are welcome as long as they convey some aspect of winter, for example cozy campfires, low sun angles, empty campgrounds, leafless trees, aurora borealis, snowy owls...
I’ll start off with one from Banff in December.

Thanks, Tom! "Sleeping Beauty" is definitely a good theme for winter, whether the trailer is shrugging off the snow or safely stored in shelter.

Lovely stuff, Batman: seeing snow without camping in it. Beautiful trailer!

Algonquin! It's been 40 years since I was there. I share your taste in season, and crowds.
J. Nelson, DaveP: thanks!

February 2021 Photo Contest
Well, I couldn’t find one with our Airstream but here is my first time towing a U-haul on a ball hitch (as opposed to our Hensley). We recently moved our daughter and son-in-law back to Ohio from Washington DC. He is in grad school for business at John Hopkin’s in DC but all courses went remote due to COVID. On the way back we hit snow in the mountains of Maryland. Then near home we had one steep curvy decent where I was really wishing for traction with the MDX and trailer brakes. By the grace of God we made it back home [emoji120][emoji18]

Wow, Peter, my trailer hasn't done this yet in spite of lots of snow.
Glad you made it home safely, Steve. I find my little trailer tows well in the snow.

Airstreams don’t work in the winter ;-)
Great photos so far! Love to see people getting after it in the colder weather
