Sorry for the delay in the Feb. 2008 Photo Contest!
The theme is -- Airstreams and airplanes -- anything that's airworthy combined with the Airstream will be great. Creativity is a plus -- the sky's the limit. Have fun, and thanks for the honor of hosting.

The theme for the Feb Photo Contest is right up our alley !!!
We have both our 59 Tradewind and also a 52 Royal Spartanette (which was manufactured by the Spartan Aircraft Co ! ! ).
Here goes - -
Not quite the same nor am I entering for the contest, but I thought somebody might like to see it.
Some will already know this is a Spartan "Manor" (trailer) and "Executive" (plane).
This little combo belongs to someone on the Spartan forum and it is their photo I grabbed from the site. I just can't remember who nor can I find their website that showed the details of the plane and Spartan.
Almost forgot to mention they were both made by Spartan Aircraft.

PS - I love the empty wine glass, I'm sure it is just a prop for this photo.
Not quite empty, still a little left. Never leave a wine glass empty unless of course you are placing it in the dishwasher! I checked my 2008 FAA Rule Book and there is nothing in it about drinking and reading.

Sparkygus gave us a challenge.....
......So I thought to myself how on earth am I going to get an airstream with airplanes for this months entry.....In the dead of winter, with no airport for miles - and the LadyBug frozen solid.....
......So I thought wouldn't it be neat if the Canadian Snow Birds flew over head - just when I was out snowblowing and playing with Haily......now that would be a really cool picture....
Guess What - they did .......
Sparkygus - thanks for adding these key words.....
What great pictures. We're really enjoying them. Keep 'em coming! How in the world does one pick a winner??????? We knew this would be a tough one, but everyone rose to the challenge -- which of course is part of being an Airstreamer.
Yaeger: Bob, I thought we were the only folks in this airspace for todays attempt at Mach One. over
Cardenas: Chuck, I cleared it with the tower and we are the only ones up here. over
Yeager: I must be dreaming of my vacation!
Standbye - Three, two , one engines ignited
