I'd love to convert the body of my 2013 Chevy 2500 Duramax to a 40s era looking Woody wagon. Now THAT's a project!! :-)

There's a company in Florida called Hercules that makes a replica of the Woody bodies. Now not sure it would fit the Chevy chassis, but it would be interesting to see.

Recently acquired my first AS. Only one trip so far to bring her home from Washington. I did manage a shot of our on-board protection system. I couldn't figure out how to attach more than one photo!

GFA.arc: I like your on-board protection system, but I couldn't quite make out the color of the "optical sensors" of your protection system

SteveSueMac: Considering the fact that your "MASON JARS" will not allow us to view the content, we must assume that the beverage about to be consumed would be one which would put one in a relaxed mood if taken in moderation, or on the other hand, put one in a stupor if imbibed in liberal quantities
Cheers my friend, to one and all, hale and hearty!

10 days left and counting down until this month's contest is in the bag. That is 10 days more for you each to find or take and then submit the winning photo. We are all anxiously awaiting your photos.
And of course, thank each of you who have already sent in a photo or more. I am also glad that you each feel comfortable enough to send in your own comments and questions on the photos that have been posted. This type of interaction generates more of a sense of community.

Ok - my wife and I are camping for our 31st Anniversary and I'm sitting in my recliner conversion we had done earlier this year at the mothership, enjoying my favorite hobby of watching the ocean - drinking a cup of coffee in a mug my wife made (pottery is her hobby - though I think she's too good at it to only think of it as a hobby). So you got your basic love story, the mothership, two hobbies and a partridge in a pear tree for this one :-)
As an FYI - the other side of the mug has our WBCCI numbers and the side opposite the handle evokes a rivets and panels theme :-) She made a matching set of dinner plates too so we have our own Tin Goat dinnerware whenever we're camping :-)
Too fun!

SteveSueMac: Happy Anniversary!
We just got back from Bend/Sisters OR area where we spent 4 days at Bend/Sisters Garden RV Park relaxing and doing some kayaking at 3 creeks lake.
Nice "MUG SHOT" with Tin Goat on the mug and capturing a goat out the window at the same time. That mug looks as though it is really nice, and from what I can see, professionally made by a too humble hobbyist. Well done.

Thanks muchly!
Yes, the goat out the window is our mascot and rig's namesake - Tin Goat (sometimes autocorrect says Tim Goat - but that's a lie :-) ). Here's TG monitoring our fire ring:
The mug and dishes are really beautiful and very fun to use when camping! DW is too humble...her work is really beautiful!
Thanks!!

Okay, all you onlookers. There have been 1959 views of this thread, 51 of which are active participants. What are the rest of you doing with all the photographs that I know you have? Come on, upload a picture or two of your AS and another hobby/passion, I know you have a snap shot or two, so take a few minutes and join in. We will be wrapping this up within a week, with the results posted early next week, so those of you who have entered, be thinking of a theme for September. And for those of you who will be late entries, if you have a theme you are just chomping at the bit to see photos related to it, you are running out of time.

Milky Stream? Airy Way?
My other passion is astronomy. Although my telescope is not visible in this picture, this was a 30 second shot of the center of the Milky Way taken looking south from our camp site on Long Key FL last weekend. Beautifully dark skies, few bugs - just a beautiful location to look at the stars. Best, Joe

Time with your AS, family, and lots of fun, what more can we ask for out of life.
