Airstream - it just might make them a tad envious!

Cleaver, however wouldn't you agree a granny smith on your airstream counter would be a more suitable picture for the caption?

A great month so far!

We are half way through the month, and I've seen some fantastic photos! Keep the Pictures rolling in!

Color me done, and delicious as well.

My daughter said we had to submit this photo for the Color photo contest this month. This past weekend we took a Daddy-Daughter trip with some friends. The first photo is for submission, the others are just for reference. Yes the Spinach Lasagna was delicious, but the fresh South Carolina peach cobbler was even better, and to think it was all baked in good old cast iron dutch ovens. Ok we tended to cook lots if good food in the dutch ovens this weekend. Fresh veggie/chicken fajitas were good as well.

Still have to say the best part of the weekend was being asked by the 13 year old daughter to go camping.

Kudos to the Dutch Oven Photo sets, did you look at my profile pictures and you are trying to persuade me with my own fond hobby?

Whew! Independence Pass!, I started up with my Suburban and Safari 30...things got tight quick! I turned around at the first turnout and went back to Aspen and up through Glenwood Springs. That pass looked like a one way road in places,!,,

Must be the Tennessee in me. I grew up in Kingston just west of Knoxville on I-40. I have been cooking in cast iron as long as I can remember. I often evaluate my meal by how many pieces of cast iron have been used.
I have seen in the past where there was a Dutchstream. Is there one being planned currently? Would love to try to make it over.
