April 2020 Photo Contest
Hello all. I had the honor of being the chosen one for the March 2020 photo contest. Thank you Shari.
It is always great to see the inventive way we have of displaying our Airstreams in pictures. As this is a very different time for most of us, ie COVID -19 pandemic, I thought we can share where we'd like to be. My favorite place I wish I was right now is sitting around the campfire with my friends and family. Rallies are always a great resource.
So my challenge to you is to share a photo of you, friends, visitors, animals, etc. with your campfire. And you can have more than 10 in a group. :-) So campfire/bonfire with people and/or animals is the contest.
Stay warm. Stay healthy. Enjoy life!

Campfire
Around the campfire in early May 2019 with our very best friends' feet (and a little snow) in the Rockies.

My best friend (my wife) is allergic to campfire smoke, so how about that fire pit without fire.
I wish we were here (Blue Ridge Parkway), or anywhere, on the road camping. Home for two weeks so far …… and on hold for the duration!
The two wild turkeys and their five chicks were friendly! (enlarge the photo to see the chicks hiding in the grass)
Do they count as camping friends. These were not at our campsite, but were seen nearby when we were exploring.

Fun with long exposure!
Goblin Valley Utah.....awesome place. We were there during a new moon. The night sky is incredible. BUT the wind was unbearable. We could not open any windows in the trailer because the wind would fill the trailer with a fine dust!
We thought we would have some fun with long exposure shots as it got dark. Before we concentrated on the night sky.
Included 2 with no people or animals, however the glow on the red rock is from a campfire that was burning below were I was shooting.
