In February of 2006, one night it dipped down to 63 degrees here. It lasted for several hours. We have not forgotten.

HAH ! That's exactly what it is here now......April heat wave.

Another 4 months it'll be 40 degrees 'warmer'.

Sorry for being so late with this,but as I am such a computer spaz I am having some problems.All are self inflicted. Thank you to everyone who participated.They're all great pictures and stories.Camping in adverse weather presents some fantastic photo opportunities and you really remember these trips because they are so different. Since there can only be one winner,I pick azflycaster's picture.It truly looked like a great night not to be in a tent. Thanks again to everyone. Spencer

I am very honored to have won the contest for April. In the years we have had this contest I have entered almost every month. I came in second twice, but I finally won!

The picture is from a Memorial Day outing with my fly fishing club and the storm came as a complete surprise to everyone. The picture was taken on a Friday and the following shot was 3 days later. If you don't like the weather in the White Mountains of Arizona, stick around a few hours. BTW, the trailer behind mine in the picture below belongs to Brad (flyfshr), just for fun, ask him how he got to the site.
