Quick favor - Basecamp 20X tongue arm length

I need a quick help from anybody who has Basecamp 20X. Could you please measure the A-frame arm of the tongue from the starting point (near the wall) to the ball mount center (along the arm) and share the information? I'm exploring different hitch options and would like to know the length of the tongue arm. Most dealers don't have one in stock to accurately measure.

Really appreciate your help!

I pick up my 20x on Jan 30th, be happy to do it if no one else has by then.

The center of the ball to the back of the trailer is 20 ft. The "cabin" is 16 ft. the ball to the centerline of the axles is 16 ft. But, to be sure, email AS customer service. They have been quite prompt and helpful with similar questions I have had.

Thanks Crawship99. I need to find the length of the A-frame arm (the ones on which the propanes are mounted). I'll reach out to the AS customer service. Thank you.

I found out the actual length from AS customer support; it's 36.5". The frame bar width is 2"x4" 10GA steel tube, and the ball size is 2 5/16".

Knight-rider, I am going to look at the demo model in Virginia today. Anything else you need? Pictures etc...? Our delivery date is early April but we finally get to take a moment to be hands on with the BC 20X demo.

Thanks so much Pizzaman276. Sorry, I saw your message now. AS customer support answered everything I need at this point. I really appreciate your offer to help.

I hope you liked the demo model. I have put deposit without looking at the unit - this is the first time ever I'm buying something without seeing the unit in-person.

No worries knight-rider. I did the deposit without seeing it too. We really liked the 16 and were ready to purchase but were talked into the 20 (wasn’t difficult). Glad we did it. The 20 was great in person. I like the kitchen in the 16 but the added room is very nice in the 20.

Awesome! I'm glad to hear that you liked the unit. I just got a call from AS dealership today. Someone backed out from the deal, and I might get the unit in March instead of September! Yay. But they need to install the AC. I'm trying to find out if they install it the same way as Factory.

Im curious what hitch you’re thinking of using for your Basecamp? I was thinking of going with an Andersen hitch for mine.

I'm thinking Anderson or Equalizer or Hensley Cub. Experts are saying Hensley Cub is an overkill on BC 20X, and I agree. My bro and I will be using the trailer in snow mountains, and the weather here gets unpredictable in the mountains. So I don't mind an overkill hitch if it makes my rig safe.
