Propane/Dual Fuel Generators and running from Propane Port on Camper

Wondering if anyone has had luck using a propane powered generator and instead of connecting the Propane Generator to a bottle, running it from the propane port on the lower front portion of the frame.
Ideally, it would be nice to run only the AC on Low with a small 2200/2000 ish Generator. I would prefer to not have to carry around gasoline- it seems to always spill or slosh just enough to stink up whatever is around it. So this would make it so you didn' t have to put a gas can inside the base camp while driving. (I pull with an SUV so don't want a gas can in my SUV either).

This one looks nice, however the store could NOT sell me, or find, a hose to hook up direct to the LP Port on the frame.

Are there any LP Dual Fuel Generators that are plug and play?

Yes, lots of folks here run gens off the propane low-pressure [LP] port:

Most of the threads are in the Generators etc. sub-forum -- there is nothing unique about the BC LP port:

One recent long thread FYI:

We have a small Yamaha 1000 watt unit, which works fine to top off the batteries, and keep an already-cold fridge cold:

Most propane-fired generators have readily available hoses for connecting to the LP port. Extension hoses are easy to add on.

Good luck.

Let the music lift you up . . .
