Maxx Fan Deluxe?

Has anyone replaced the standard fan with a Maxx Air Deluxe? It can be run in any weather and while rolling without issue.

LOVE THEM. Right after I got my 2016 Signature, I replaced the FF with the MAXFAN Deluxe. Either get the 7000 or 7500. These models have the remote control. Can buy them on Amazon. It has the integrated rain shield, 10 speed, and reverse function. Did I say I LOVE THEM??????

It's the first mod I make. The are big improvement.

With FFs the fan can shut off and close with the slightest sprinkle or even dew.

Have two of them and they work well. One fan pushes air and the other pulls air.
The only thing I would do differently is install a second air conditioner in lieu of a fan in the rear bedroom since in reality we mostly camp when it is hot and humid.

Replaced our 2 vent fans with the MaxxAir Deluxe w/remotes. They work great and add a lot of options to your cooling needs
On our AS(1989 Excella) we had to go on the roof and inside to square the OE vent fan hole with aluminum shears, also added stabilizing framing(wood) around the perimeter of the hole to give the mounting screws (outside/inside) more to bite into. We also had to contact MaxxAir to get curved "Airstream specific" curved inner ceiling trim trim($15) the stock trim is for a flat/deeper ceiling.
We trimmed it to fit our AS, but there was still a gap with the AS roof curve, I looked "ok", but the AS specific looked much better. A good buy!!

I haven't but am now considering it. Wonder if it will make the difference the others claim in the smaller footprint.

Adding a pair of Maxx Fans was the first mod that I did to my then-new 2006 19-CCD. It made a huge difference in the air flow, and I wouldn't use any other type of roof fan system!
