Installing task lights?

I really like the task/reading light installed on the ceiling near the rear door. I feel the overhead lights are a bit much especially when it’s buggy out. I was wondering if I could install 2 more…one over the galley area and one over the dinette.

I found the task light used in the basecamp https://itcshopnow.com/products/comp...hoCzdwQAvD_BwE. Just wondering if anyone has had to run wiring through the ceiling. If so, how did you do it?

Alternatively, there are SO many USB chargeable adhesive lights on Amazon. I have a bar light over the galley with an additional mount in the back (it's magnetic, you can put it anywhere) and just ordered matching sconces. I need amber light at night so I love being able to customize the lights this way!

Magnets don't stick to aluminum. What are you attaching it to that's metal? I tried a magnetic light but couldn't find a place to stick it. Command strips would work though.

I have a few magnetic rechargeable LED lights in place throughout the trailer. They all come with thin pieces of metal which attach to the wall with double-sided tape and then the light magnetically sticks to that.

The most useful is in our shower, which Airstream delightfully left without a light after positioning it in a way that prevent the bathroom light from reaching it. Another is set to auto feature and is positioned behind the toilet to act as an on-demand nightlight for night time bathroom runs.

Both of these excellent ideas that I had not thought of and shall implement!

We did likewise with these undercabinet motion lights.

Under Cabinet Lights, 40 LED Rechargeable Battery Operated Motion Sensor Light Indoor, 2 Pack Magnetic Dimmable Closet Lights, Wireless Under Counter Lights for Kitchen, Stairs https://a.co/d/e5AcC5K

The closet of our 27 FB was a good place for one as well. So far they've worded well.

Sorry, bad description. The light is magnetic to itself - you use adhesive to stick a mounting plate wherever you want the light, and the light "snaps" on and off the mount using magnets, so you can move it around to other spots or carry it as a torch.
