A month of trying to code-break the byzantine reservation structure for state and county parks to basque in the California sun amongst the Covid campers, like Austin Powers in his little cart, it took me an hour to get out of the warehouse. Some rotten bastard parked in front of my unit creating a tight turn to get the Airstream out. Two wheel trailers are Squirrley.
Only 45 miles north of the warehouse, El Capitan commands the coastline poking into the Pacific, possibly the finest right wave in Cali on a west swell.
Imagine 1850 - what California used to look like - beautiful rolling hills of oak trees down to the ocean. Miles of empty beach.

Spurs they are called - each an asphalt human storage slot
The usual over trodden grass sand fire pit
But we’re here on the edge of the Pacific
Food - check
camp gear - check
surfing gear - check
Whoops forgot the doo hicky that lowers the two stabilizers on either side of the back of the trailer. It keeps it from too much Rollin and Rockin’
Check list …
next time it would be good to have a checklist
