Broken storage rack over bed

One of the storage racks over the seating/bed area broke … my fault aka I have a broken knee and was pulling myself up to get something out of it - curious if anybody came up w/ a creative storage solution? Would love to have better storage in the BaseCamp if something is available. If not -- assume this part is easily replaced?

Sorry to hear it broke. I've been concerned when I lift myself with mine. I've thought of adding a soft hanging wardrobe but that would not fix the pole. I'd think Airstream should replace on warranty.- Dr. T.

Curious, how much weight those overhead storage areas can designed to handle? Does the owners manual reference it?
