Bench/bed cushions, sliding galley doors
So, when turning the benches into a bed, I leave the two small cushions on each bench in place, put one of the large cushions under the bed, and put the other large cushion on the fold-out. This leaves the center section (the fold-out) about 1/2" lower than the benches. Doesn't matter much because I have an inflatable bed (54" x 79") that makes the low middle a non-issue.
Just wondering what Airstream was thinking if an inflatable is not in the mix? Is there a "proper" way to align the cushions?
Also, the sliding galley doors used to be a problem - they would vibrate open while under tow, and many of the stored contents ended up on the floor. I solved that one by placing magnets on the inside of all the doors. Anyone come up with a different solution?
