Basecamp Mods Video

Hey everyone, just wanted to post a video that my husband made over this last weekend. We took the trailer out camping for the second time this year to test a few of the new mods out. We've had the trailer for a year and a half now and have had enough time to figure out what we wanted to do with the trailer. Here is a list of some of the mods that we have done:

1. Screens, front windows and across back door
2. TV (12V LED LCD VIZIO)
3. Catalytic Heater
4. Closet containers
5. Additional grip tape on stairs
6. Kelty tarp across back (we hate putting up the tent, but this is the first attempt at doing anything different)
7. Extra padding and smoothing of bed

I'm sure I am forgetting to list some of the other mods that we have made, but I hope you enjoy the video.

Thanks

Very cool. We had a 2008 and I loved it, but It was a bit too rustic for the wife. So we're in a Bambi now. Great job!

excellent video

Thanks for posting. Great ideas & good video.

My wife & I have been using our BC for 4 years and driven cross country 4 times. The screens are a great idea and we'll try to reproduce your design.

Does anyone know where we could purchase parts for a basecamp? I'd like to have a spare tire- possibly a full spare with original rim.

Also, the cap of the rash guard- the black metal tube on the exterior. how to buy one or make one.

Rear Kelty Screen

Hello. I'm a new member and a new Basecmp owner. I see your post is from some time ago, so you may not even own your Basecamp anymore. But I like your rear screen. Can you tell me if you bought it or made that. I'd like to use your idea.
