Rideau river park - one hour from home...
Again, early season with frost at night...but we were comfy in our basecamp!
Amazing time!

We visited Hamburg State Park in Georgia last weekend. First trip since the last refrigerator fix.
Although we had temps in the mid-90s, the refrigerator temps stayed well below 40 degrees. We were plugged in and only used propane in transit. The fan noise was insignificant. (Other fans running also because of the heat, hardly noticed the new fan.)
It rained, no leaks!
New 2” natural latex mattress topper: huge improvement. I think the 3” topper would be great, but I like the easy way this one rolls up without taking too much space.
Nice quiet park with waterfront sites - good for a few days rest!

Thank you! The separate tent is a screen room, and it's used for sitting outside without being bothered by mosquitoes, gnats, and flies.

Here is a few weeks ago at Road America in Elkhart Lake WI for the INDY car race. We were in an end campsite by a very busy area of the track. We did 20+ walk throughs of the trailer.....got annoying after a while. And yes, had a few people ask if it was a horse trailer. Ewald Airstream can let me know when my commission check is ready and I'll pick it up.

Thought I’d post this on the basecamp adventure thread because it has been quite an adventure!! We purchased ours on 9-15-16 first one sold in texas at their debut. Took delivery in November. Went thru all the not so fun recalls.. bumps in the road but also made so many memories!! I feel like we all went thru so much “beta testing” and craziness together  We decided that we needed more space (a little!) but didn’t want to go “big” so with much contemplation we put a down payment on a caravel 19cb and take delivery this weekend. Can’t wait for the road ahead for us and wish all my fellow basecampers the best!!!
