TPMS

We have a 2016 25ft Flying Cloud with the original GY Marathons. Will be replacing them with GY Endurance this week. We tow with a 2019 F350 Lariat that has TPMS for the truck. I believe that We can add TPMS for the AS; that will interface easily with my truck system. I am hoping some of our forum members can suggest quality TPMS systems that are made in the USA; that will interface with my F350 and not require an additional monitoring screen. Thank you in advance. Low tech in Round Rock, Texas

I doubt any of the TPMS are MADE in the US. Most components are so similar they could come from the same production line.
I went with TST because of their good customer service, and I wanted a separate monitor. No regrets.
Give them a call and let them know you want to integrate the AS into your truck system.
I like mine separate so after #4 it goes back to #1 without checking other places.

My humble F150 does not allow me to add sensors, so I can't offer direct advice.
Have you called your Ford dealer? Seems chancy to buy based solely on third party advice.

John, great idea to go with the Endurance and a TPMS system - piece of mind when on the road. You might want to search out a Ford Truck forum to see what’s required to add it to your truck’s system.

We have a 2019 RAM 2500 and while they advertized the TTPMS as an option at launch, it was delayed until recently (on 2020 models). The RAM truck forum posted the components required to purchase but it also requires one to “hack” the ECM to turn on the computer code. Dealers won’t touch it.

I really don’t want to go that route so I’m looking at a Dill external TPMS with flow-through sensors. They’re the most reliable and Dill was recommended by another Airstream Forum tire expert.

Hopefully you can just add sensors to your F350. Try visiting your local Ford dealer’s parts department and see if they can help.

Good luck!
Jeff

You need the 360 degree camera option on your truck to add the Ford TPMS and the trailer camera if you want it, too.

I have both on my 2019 F350. The TPMS is nice for added peace of mind when towing.
