Centramatic update?

Greetings to all. I’m trying to do my homework before purchasing a set of four for my rig. I don’t think I have a severe problem as some folks report popped rivets, for hinges damaged etc... but...just as I have installed a TPMS, I need to know what’s happening before it becomes an insurmountable problem. Most everyone have reported good results and at this point I’m looking for any updates or detrimental information I may have overlooked. Thanks for any input.

Did you have your tires balanced. You may want to do this before spending money on the Centramatic

My previous trailer was a 23 and now a 27' never had any popped rivets.

We have used the Centramatic's since "Cloudsplitter" was new.
Tires should always be road force balanced when mounted, it balances the tire and confirms wheel run-out.

Centamatic's balance the rotating assembly, brake drum/rotor and the tire/wheel.

We wouldn't roll without them.

Centramatics

I installed Centramatics a year ago on my 27 FB and noticed a reduction in rivet popping and disturbance in the trailer. My disturbance meter is a Dalek Mr. Potato Head that rides on the galley counter. If he stays in place all is good. If he falls in the sink, rough ride. If he's on the floor in pieces, very rough ride (along with the usual pillow cushion explosion). More times than not he's still on the counter after Centramatics. I also placed them on my Ford Excursion this year. Nice smooth ride even at high speeds excepting the usual road deterioration. Go for it! - Brad
