What is this called and where might I find one?

We are working on the exterior of our "new" 1976 sovereign31 and this part is missing on the roadside of the trailer. What would this be called when I am trying to locate a replacement?

Belt line insert is what you are looking for. Out of Doors Mart has everything you will need. I buy most of my Airstream specific parts from them. I've ordered online and I've called and talked to the guys at the sales counter. They have shipped to me when I've been on the road and could not find a part I needed. If you do not see online what you want, call and tell them what you need and it's on the way. Same day shipping most of the time.

You have the molding in place. You need the end caps to hold the molding in place as it will shrink if not secured in place at the ends.

Looks like the return piece was just painted to match the molding. I would try and match he color.

Are you looking for the plastic insert or the aluminum piece that joins the two strips at the end?

I am looking for that metal end piece that joins the top strip to to the bottom strip. It is on the curb side of the camper, but missing off of the street side It's about 8 inches long and has a blue painted stripe in the middle which matches the vinyl belt insert. Check out the photos I took.

The photo I took is of course the one that remains. I need one that slants in the opposite direction. :-)

I think the best bet would be from someone who is parting out a damaged trailer.
Maybe this one: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater
