We are painting...What a transformation!

We are almost done. Custom automotive paint job for the RETROMOBILE. We've outfitted it in all 1950's - melamine dishes, chrome-covered laminate, 1950's glass backsplash, Amy Butler fabric coverings, and an atomic clock.

The bottom is tantalizing teal; with a Porsche red stripe and cream upper, with chrome airstream letters.

Thanks ya'll. Wish I could say I am actually doing the work. I traded an Instrument rating (flying) out for the paint job. These guys build 6 wheel amphibian vessels out of a small Tennessee town, and they are a family of students of mine. What a great trade.

I'll show the finished job this weekend.

Instrument rating. That means that you won't have to remove the masking from the windows, right?

It's looking great. I'm looking forward to the finished photos.

Vaughn, Well, I have about 3000 hours in the soup, but perhaps I'll leave the "IFR RV'ing" to someone else....hahaha.

That really looks great!

Of course now we'll need interior photos.
