Leaks in Ceiling

I have had leaks show up in my new 2017 Tommy. A couple are coming through the AC vents, some in joints here and there. I took it to Haydocy in Columbus OH to have them fixed. They kept for multiple days and stated they could not recreate the issue. This occurs during rain and any sort of driving. I did explain that. Well, they gave back with no correction and guess what - it is happening again. Any ideas on what I can do? What I look at? I saw some threads on the AC Drip pan so any suggestions will be welcomed.

Columbus isn't that far from Jackson Center, so you might want to consider taking it there.

Condensation Mistaken for Leak?

It doesn't sound like a leak from outside your trailer.

When raining this could be condensation occurring inside the ducting of air conditioner or inside the ceiling skin nearby the cold ducts. This will occur when you have high humidity inside the trailer and the inside skin and ducts are colder than the dew point causing the water vapour to condense on the cold skin. (Raining is 100% humidity.) Another way this inside high humidity can occur is when the air conditioner is cycling on and off because the temperature delta (inside vs outside temperatures) are close together not allowing the ac to dehumidify properly.

The condensation may puddle inside the ducting and driving would cause it to move along the duct and then drip out of the ceiling vent. I have seen this happen in my trailer.

Get a hygrometer to measure relative humidity and if too high (55% +) you might consider a dehumidifier.

We have had water come in through our ceiling vent fans in the shower and toilet if left open when raining.

We found that when the rear AC was installed, only one gasket was installed rather than two, which resulted in an insufficient seal with the top of the trailer.

Good luck - Pat

Thanks but AC was not running. This was during a rainy day and a drive.

Thank you. I did have this AC replaced in Los Angles as it was defective. I will reach out to see if that is it.
