Hehr window replacement screws

2008 Safari...I thought I'd try here rather in the window forum because I'm sure someone here has the same problem as I have.

I live right on the coast and in addition to filaform troubles, I also have rusty Hehr window outside screws that are above the portion that opens. I went to Fastenal and they measured the screws and ordered stainless steel ones that won't rust as easy. They just came in after they were special ordered, and they're too big. They sent size 8 by 5/16th's and it looks like I need 6's. Anyone? What size do I need? Where do I get stainless screws that small?

Fastenal should have anything you need. If they ordered the wrong screws they will exchange for you. Your on the right track, use stainless whenever work is done.
