Flags on the airstreams

I have noticed in pictures that when there is a ralley you will see many airstreams with flags. I can see the American flag, and other flags in the photos. Besides the flag pole how and what do they use to display them? What do they put the poles in to keep them from falling.

3, 5, or 7

Brian,

These are what I make, and I've done 3,5, and I have a 7 pole holder on our 58.

Sweet Sovereign of the Road: Flag Pole holders

These show pre-polish.

Has anyone tried to use thin wall conduit for poles? I thought they could be stored in a PVC pipe underneath the trailer when not being used? Any thoughts or recommendations other than painters poles? Thanks.

On my motorcycle, I fly a 3x5 flag, mounted to an aluminum flag pole 5' which is inserted into 1" conduit mounted to the saddlebag holder with two hose clamps. I have run this at up to 70mph (not reccomended but necessary at times. I belong to a group Warriors’ Watch Riders: WE HAVE YOUR BACKS AT HOME! that escorts returning troops, flag lines etc )

On the Suburban, I have a mount for a flag pole to be mounted into the hitch receiver. The Flagpole for this is an aluminum telescoping painting pole extension
