Cool Dent Repair Advice

Long time watcher - first time posting. Thanks to all for such a wealth of info...

That said, I have a dent on front passenger side of my AS project that I want to repair or improve. What would any of you do? Full disclosure, the trailer has plenty of other imperfections and a handful of patches. A patch to cover the dented area seems like a pretty good option from my POV but looking for feedback. Maybe it's easier than i think to pop out and improve (panels are removed inside currently)?

There are some good videos on youtube about pulling dents with cold glue. I think you should be able to do a reasonably good repair with a kit even without any training. Pay attention to how it's done in the videos and you should do okay. Just go slow and don't try to pull too much at a time.

If you're planning to remove the inside panel, you can use a roller to remove most if not all of that dent.

Good Luck,

Another option would be to install segment protectors to cover the damaged area.

It isn't just going to "pop" and disappear, but as noted above, you might improve it with "paintless dent repair" techniques.

Be careful if you want to try rolling from the inside, as it is easy to create damage by working it too hard.

If you want to go all-out, I think those panels on the 63' were flat, so you could just replace it altogether and not run into the problem of trying to buy a formed sheet that can no longer be bought.

good luck!
