Tin Can Luv,

How are the prices there? Cheap? Reasonable? High?

Imho

they are mid grade, to lower... You can haggle, but after only one other trip, they know me already, which means more to me than money, so, I didn't mess wiht the prices this trip.

I bought a 2 way reconditioned fridge, it's beautiful, for $750. Before I talked to this guy, I was going to order an $1800 3 way....

Their supply, in the field, used in the shop, the HUGE shop, and also new, is just AMAZING!!!

I am really impressed...

Thanks to Jmark for the reference!!!!

tin can luv,
The thought struck me, "As bad as these looks, have you ever seen pictures of an SOB wreck? Talk about something splattered across the landscape~!!"
My heart goes out to the former owners of these units, in that, I trust they came thru the experiences with no injuries~
Having said that, the next time I go by Carthage, MO., I've gotta stop in to see this place~!
Thanks for sharing your time and photos~
ciao

We just ordered some items from Colaws sight unseen, vent covers, end caps, outside stuff that comes clean and is sturdy. We paid less that half what they would have been new. Wish we had this place closer to us, I would be there constantly!!

Thanks for post, Ron - I am seeing some things that make me want to call them again

Greater than I expected

I just looked up the price for the window locks I bought for $10 each... They are on SALE at Inland for $29.95 regularly $42.90! !!!!
Glad I bought ten.. I wasn't sure how many I needed. There's still many more there too!!!...Maybe I should keep that a secret...LOL...

Glad you all are enjoying the pictures...

OK, Colaws just made me mad...

I spent two hours hitting store after store after store looking for a black and chrome microwave to match the black trimmed fridge from Colaws...

Had to be the right size... Found it, all black, but it's the perfect size...

came home, opened the fridge..... IT"S TAN!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH

Actually it'll probably look better than black.. but I don't have time to drive all over looking for a tan microwave to fit that space....I DON"T EVEN THINK THEY MAKE TAN MICROWAVES~~~~~~~~~~~~

sorry, MAD that they gave me the wrong fridge... but I guess I still like em.

ROn

Thanks for letting my rant

Most are, in fact, from the 80's. There is one late model Bambi (litlle left), one '00 34' slide out (VERY little left), one '78 or '79 International (much picked over), and a couple of pre-wide bodies from the 90's.

Saw this thread on Colaw's, went down there yesterday with wife, most of the AS are picked over, the guy said they were picked clean during the big airstream rally in Strafford, MO last year
