Leave it alone and it may eventually disappear. We have had extensive hail damage that the sun helped soften the dents and after time most are gone.

Basically the kit contains some pads with a rod attached. You use a special glue to attach the pad to the dent, then pull with a hand tool. After, the glue is removed with a plastic scraper.

In the OP's case the location is the problem, because it's hard to get a ladder there. Rule #1, "don't make it worse"

It will? Robert mentioned that up thread and wasn't sure if that a joke. You guys are saying, I guess, that expansion and contraction of aluminum due to temp variations will help stretch the material?

OP here. That's wise advice. My often silly pursuit of perfection as more than once made things worse!

Sent photo to dealer today. They said they'd be able to fix it from behind for sure if they had access, which they don't really. Until they see it, advisor is unsure if suction would do the trick given, in their words, 'it's so small'.

All this say, debating if I wait until my next visit there or if I attempt the repair myself (provided as stated above I don't think I'll mess it up more).

Please take note of the Heading on this post.

Wait at least two Seasons.
This is not a joke.
I guarantee it will be less of a concern by then, maybe even less work if you insist on a 'repair'.
Plus, the dent is on a 22' AS, the new 28' will be dent free.

lol

That’s inaccurate. The dent is on a 22’ AS. The GT 27FB will be dent free.

Somewhere I read where DRY ICE was used to remove dents. Where's Peter when one needs him?

I had some hail damage a few years ago, probably ten good dents. Purchased a dent puller that uses hot glue. You clean the spot with alcohol, put a blob of hot glue onto the dent and immediately push a plastic knob on top of the glue. Once cooled down and dried, you put a puller over the knob and turn the handle and it pulls up and pops off. After a few tries with each dent, they were all gone. The Aluminum is so soft it’s easily pulled up.
I literally could not tell where the dents had been afterwords.

I have several dings but fortunately can't be seen from the ground so I understand your pain. I just had paint-less dent repair done on my 2019 F150 and Subi Outback. I can tell you that the F150 was a challenge because of the aluminum. The Subi is 100% fixed but the aluminum F150 about 95%. No complains for $100 per dent. Also, they get to the dent from the back of the skin. On doors they go from the top were window meets the door or drill holes in the side of the door so they can get their tools under the dent and slowly work the dent out from underneath. I don't know how they would get under the skin on the front and rear aluminum end-caps on your AS. Definitely worth investigating but you should set your expectations because aluminum it a challenge. Let me know what happens because we will all be in your situation one day.

I would definitely contact a paintless dent removal service. It is amazing what they can do! If you take the route of buying a kit and attempting repair yourself, you may create a bigger problem or not accomplish anything. The $100 or so the PDR service charges will seem insignificant if they're successful.

I've gotten quite a few in my last TV due to a pesky squirrel dropping pine cones. That left my vehicle looking like it got hit by hail.

But this was the worst that has happened to me when I hit a tree leaving a campsite. The branches left quite a scar across the rear panel. As GMFL said glue tabs worked pulling it out by a seasoned PDR pro.
