"Banana Strip"

Anyone know where I can get the "banana strip" for around our 1977 Argosy 28'? Ours is dark brown and about 4-5" wide and goes around the whole trailer. Probably comes in about 6 sections. ANYONE?????:wal ly:

Hi Ray,
your referring to the lower curved section that goes from the lower molding "rub rail" to the belly skin correct ? If its not available, a sheet metal shop can easily make it.

Hi Zach: Yes. How are you? This is Sylvia. I'll give Dad this message. How have you been? Working this am, talk to you later.

He's got an Argosy MoHo in his avatar and is looking for it in brown so I suspect its the rub rail that slides into the aluminium channel he's referring to. My argosy trailer has the same thing but the rail is only about an inch thick on the trailers.

The banana wrap is the very curved part very often dented on the very lower corners of the trailers, the piece that ties the aluminum body to the belly pan, pretty sure MoHos don't have them.

Ray also has a 28' Argosy trailer. I believe this is what he is referring to.

Good morning Zach: Jackson Center, OH is also going to repair the "rub rail". Hopefully it won't be too cold in this month (March), so we can get ready for our 6 week trip. I think I told you, they are also doing the tambour door. Boy, that is in wonderful shape. Thanks again. Maybe we'll spend the whole time in Jackson Center. This will probably be our "last trip". Well, I don't really know. Dad is a real go getter. His Mother lived to be 2 months short of 108 and lived in her own home. She was quite a woman. I believe Dad has her genes. Take care and we'll keep in touch. Sylvia Sheaffer
