With the torklift step system you could walk your baby elephant up and down the steps without a trailer or step movement...when you do, please post pics

Super sturdy, I leave the legs out and store it inside the door while underway.
I use the stock steps but don't flip the second step down.

We do the same - use the existing step, and this one for the bottom step. On ours, the step height is adjustable, and each leg can be adjusted independently in case the ground is uneven (although in practice this hasn't been an issue).

We store them upside down on the doormat just inside the door. They don't move around at all during travel. Less than $100 CAD. Works great!

Does anyone using this step on an Airstream (preferably 70's version) have a ground level photo some what wider angle that shows how it looks stowed? I hear the stair is 7" thick, that would suggest the stowed stair would hang down 2" or more than the belly pan. I would like to see how that looks.

Thanks
Jv

We have one of these too:

We either use it or a vintage old-time SP railroad step I picked up years ago...I used to work for Amtrak in college.

Just to Clarify; I'm looking for pictures of the TorkLift step installed on an Airstream that show more of the trailer with the step stowed.
Thank you again.

Here's another photo of mine. Keep in mind my 58 frame rails are only 4" tall, so I have more depth below the belly pan than later model years.

I'd also recommend their boot brush. It clips to the side of the step and has nice firm bristles to clean off sand or mud.
