Adding Rear Bunk Bed to Safari 25' SS

Anybody know if the rear bunk bed could be added to a Safari 25 SS ?? I'm sure the factory could do this, what about a dealer add ??

I would say it depends on the dealer ~ some are willing to customize, some are not.

I contacted the factory today. The bunk cannot be added at the dealer level. In fact it can't be added at the factory level either- they've discontinued the bunk option on the Safari 25 SS.

Bunk on Safari 25ss

We are picking a new (2006 left over) 25ss, and asked the dealer the same question.

Our dealer indicated that the bunk could not be added as a dealer option, because the structural supports needed to be installed in the factory.

Hope this helps,

Tom

The bunk was a neat thing, but in our case, we like the added roof locker on the back wall that would have had to have been deleted if the bunk option was done.
