It was a wonderful, exciting, and successful Maiden Cruise.
Quite an intense hands-on workshop… Learned much!
Thank you Bob and Theresa!
That first evening after dinner we walked the dogs…
And admired the Safari glistening with reflected moonlight…
And got cell phone congratulations from Rich Luhr…
A nice surprise to cap off a magical day… Thanks Rich!

Hi Silver......
What's that stack of shelves you have in the right side of the closet?
we've put a set of those 3 pull out drawers from Target in ours.
But what you have looks like it would hold more.

Looks like one of those soft, hanging sweater shelf sets -- it'll collapse flat, and folds down like you see when hung from the two or three hangar hooks attached at top.
Like this one at amazon:

But that's just a guess...
Cheers,
-jd.

Hi Silvergate: Robert and Sherry here, and WOW, you posted some great pics, and sounds like you had a great trip down to Anza-Borrego. Next time we are down in San Diego (probably at San Elijo) we will let you know. Keep in touch, and sorry I was not feeling well the last time we were camping your way.

Just a short note... (got to get to work & earn more diesel fuel money)...
Yep... -jd's right... it's a soft sweater, sectional hanger...
Works great for socks, underwear, T-shirts, etc.
That fishing jacket works great in holding the keys, cell phone, camera, etc.
Roger and Sherry, we look forward to camping and meeting you at San Elijo!
Cheers,

Thanks, 2air’… the Pug liked to look at the backdrop also.
Repeating Crackling Fireplace worked very well…
Looked surreal at night from outside of trailer.
Well, we’ve been at this for months, as you say…
It’s paid off… Thanks for your and other’s help here on the forums!
See you when you're out this way!

Looking at the pix just above suggests I mention an addition we made to our 23. It's a 14" by 18" cutting board mounted on Airstream flip-up shelf hardware and attached above the upper glass door pictured. This was the location of a standard flip-up in our '99 Safari. It increases food preparation space and when raised, doesn't affect door access as the hardware struts are to the left and right of the opening.

Antique Pedaler, mounted cutting board is nice idea…
Could you please post some pictures of it in various positions…
Closed, open and view from below to see hardware.
BTW, has anyone had any issues with the Tappan microwave acting-up?
We were cooking that Spaghetti squash and set timer for 12 minutes…
We stopped microwave when it got down to 1 minute to check squash.
After checking, we closed the door and the squash rotated but the timer did not count down any further. Stop button would not stop the revolving, so we just opened the door & removed squash.
Later in evening we noticed the microwave would start up on its own just by opening or closing the microwave door, or bumping the outside of the microwave.
The following day, it heated coffee fine… but still at times would seem to start-up and start revolving when the door was opened and closed, or bumped!?

I don't know...
shelf: or shoes:
My little wardrobe already has a 3-drawer unit in the base, so that hanging 3 shelf job might be just the thing. Thanks for sharing the idea, SilverGate
Cheers,
-jd.

Pedaler,
Thanks for the pictures. Clancy_boy told me he saw another shelf that fit over the opened left sink cupboard door somehow, and provided an extension more towards the front edge of the sink area. He was looking for where he saw it.

Antique Pedaler – Thanks for the pix of your fold-out shelf…
Looks great! We have the same style bamboo cutting boards...
And we’ll undoubtedly mount the larger one just like yours.
And use the smaller one on the lobster sink cover as a cutting board.
Thank you!

Antique Pedaler... Our home bamboo cutting board was too small for trailer...
So we found one that would do the job... at Wal-Mart of course.
A hardwood Maple cutting board 12"x18"x3/4" with juice groove.
We mounted it with brackets similar to yours and bought locally:
