The AS queens are no longer than full size, only wider. Given the increased depth of mattresses today, why don't you try full size sheets?

It's pricey, but the Airstream store has sheets and mattress pads with the exact fit for all the trailers.

We have the queen bed in a 2005 25' FB. We had the same problem. We now use a fitted full sheet and a queen flat sheet. The fitted sheet is tight, but it works and we use a 2" memory foam top pad. Without a pad, the full should fit fine.

We have those elastic corner straps that snap on across the corners. This is because my wife wanted Egyptian Cotton sheets...oh so soft and very nice. I would think you could also sew in a pleat or seam or something to take up the slack in the corners of the fitted sheets if you wanted a custom fit.
