Dinette to couch and back...
Hi, we have an '07 25' FB Safari with the booth dinette; we'd like to "convert" it to a couch on occasion and back to the dinette. Has anyone purchased "bolsters" and/or filler cushions/pillows to do this? What did you use and where'd you get 'em?
Thanx, Lance

re:dinette to sofa
I purchased a couple of body pillows (Bed, Bath and Beyond)to put along the back and then some 24" square pillows (Jo-Ann Fabrics)to put against the body pillows. Of course after I did all of this, we found that if we just put some pillows behind our backs and lean against the back wall with the dinette in place, we're quite comfortable. I haven't found the seating area very comfortable with the dinette down because the cushions don't really fit the space very well and they scoot around.

large pillows
we have an 05 25' FB, what I did was buy 2 large floor type pillows about 27 x 27 square, got them at walmart. I put them up against the back wall, and we lean against them with our legs stretched out on the sofa. What I also do is take the back cushion ( next to door ) out, that gives me more space to relax, and I also bought an ottoman to put my feet on too.

I haven't figured it out just the way I would like to do it in the future yet, but what I have done for now, when I put the table down on occassion for seating, is to take the long lounge back cushion from under the double windows and put that across the back of the trailer for back support and it is like a deep seat couch then. I stick the pillow shams and toss pillows in the corners at the curves.
Another thing I have done with the dinette in place is to also remove the back cushion from the door side of the dinette and place it along the refrigerator wall under the monitor (after pulling out the slide enough to move the seat cushions forward to equal that cushion length.) That also acts as a spacer providing clearance for the wall mounted monitor.
Our last trip out we left all the back cushions at home and used the short spacers only. We enjoyed all the deep seating on the trip but I have returned them for now. It's nice to have options.

We have done the same as Carol describes. We also use down pillows from "home" to fluff the corners, etc. It makes a great area for reading as well as CD viewing, and cuddling with your favorite relative.

Janet,
Be careful. "Cuddling with your favorite relative" has different meanings in various parts of the country....
