20ft leak problem

Hi all, My wife and I just bought our first airstream about a week ago and we have taken everything apart within reason to clean and inspect everything. I have one major problem that I haven’t seem to fix. Under the stove and other side of the water pump(curb side) I have a pretty good leak which has been there for a while now seems like. I sealed belt line trim and anything that looked bad far as sealant goes. The only thing I forgot was the external outlet box. It rained last night and the water was back. This morning I sealed that box. I know that will need to be replaced but I’m moving to CA next week and the airstream will be my home for a while. So for the moment I’m looking to fix the leak and deal with the floor in the near future. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I have attached pics of the area

In an attempt to diagnose or rule out a leak in the fresh water system I would try first to energize the water pump first with ‘ On Board ‘ water and inspect for leaks and if none I would then try water introduced through the City Water inlet. If at any time during during either test the water pump cycles on and off with no faucet or etc open that would probably indicate a leak somewhere in the system. The pump should not cycle on and off. I am sure you will get many comments, that’s how I would start unless I was certain it was from another source, you did mention an outside electrical outlet. Good Luck

Could be leaking on top around pipe or vents coming down inside wall.

Best thing to do now is get a fan on that water and get it dry. You will have to test and see if your leak is indeed coming from the outside power outlet. Is the wood soft? It looks ok.
Minwax makes a product call Wood hardener that may help firm things up if loose.

Last year, we had a similar leak which led to my recaulking everything above the floor level. Still leaked. Then I noticed that the floor-level exterior trim had a gap along its upper edge. Caulked that and the leak was gone.

Thanks for the quick reply’s, I ran all the water to make sure but from what I can tell it looks dry. The wood looks to be okay there are 2 1x1 spots of soft wood but not rotten so I think I caught it in time. I had the awning out today and noticed the vertical seam looked bad so I resealed that and the oven vent right above it. I have the rear bumper issue as well and have temp fixed for now(sealed all around the belt line and between the bumper). The roof is on the list for tomorrow, does anyone know if I can get to under the shower without taking out the shower? It’s wet under there and that dang flooring doesn’t help. I cut all the vinyl flooring out of the trunk side so it will not wick the water any where. The only good news is that California is pretty dry most of the time so I can get it all dried out pretty easy.

That’s for that link, I was looking at that Epoxy Rot stuff but I like that alittle better
