2007 Safari belly pan
While parked I noticed the wind was making something raddle under my Airstream. The wind was high and hitting directly on the rear. Found the rear belly pan had broken loose from the pop rivets and actually torn from the rivete like a smooth cut. Since there are no cross beams to help support the pan we suspect the wind and road vibration caused the pan to start a wave motion causing it to break loose from rivets. Stopped by Luke's in Fort Collins andhad it repaired. He put extra large washers on the rivets. Would have thought Airstream could have placed cross beams for extra support. So much for thinking.
