We're keeping our 67 as original
As original can be with what we have
thinking of bamboo flooring (live in the NW) in a teak color or Java is what they call it from teragrin.
But it's 7.50/ft.. 26' that adds up
Anyone living in NW or wet/ hot climates found another solid floor type that can withstand temps, water and heavy use?
I'm not fond of laminate, really looking for a beautiful finish but at $4/ft.
Any suggestions?
I've heard nightmares of buckling and warping etc
Solid, we want solid w a good look
If you have used bamboo, results? Any words of wisdom?

With the flooring in mind:
I want the "oak" color wood of cabinets and partition walls to be just slightly lighter than the floors. Is there a hardy stain that anyone recommends? I heard of someone using Annie's Chalk Paint stain? What about a deck stain?
We have 8 months of rain and moisture moisture moisture.. want to look at all options

Love all of you! And I don't even know you!

Prefinished flooring can weigh a minimum of 1.5 pounds per square foot for wood flooring depending on the species or style selected and solid or engineered. For 200 sq. ft. this is 300 pounds that you would be adding to the axle weight. As well as decreasing your cargo capacity of the trailer you will be also decreasing your gas mileage while towing. Why not use a high quality vinyl flooring?

We used click lock cork flooring in our trailer. 5 years and still looks very good. Disadvantage is it is not cheap, and it does add weight to the trailer.
Advantage is we removed the insulation from under the floor, and did not replace it, as the cork is very warm in cool weather. We get many compliments on our floor. It's very wet friendly if you seal it correctly. Many freeze/thaw cycles later, it has not buckled.
However, there are many considerations, and it's all in what you want. I've seen vinyl floors that are fabulous.

I have bamboo in my home. It's very pretty but dents very easily.
