What is the best process to measure and fit mini blinds

I'm putting mini blinds in my 91 Limited and need advice on the best process to measure and fit the blinds. Should the blinds cover the window handles? Go between the handles? Should I use the screen frame dimensions?

Good question. The ones I like miss the handles. The peek-a-boo gap is covered with a curtain on each side attached to body with a screw snap. Handles can be reached under curtain, and blind can stay down with window open. There are pictures on the forum.

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.

Thanks, Splitrock, for the links and photo. Some pics seemed to show the blind just inside the handles, other over the handles. The space between handles does not leave much room for error but they look very nice. Over the handles seems ok too but the handles protrude a bit. I wonder which choice inside or outside the handles works best over time and how difficult a fit between the handles might be.
