Just wondering if anyone has experience using wallpaper over a painted interior aluminium wall which has rivets?
Just toying with the idea for wallpaper on the bathroom wall on the outside. I know generally you want a completely flat level surface but has anyone done it on a wall with rivets?
Besides the rivets and curves, there is also another challenge, all the moisture from condensation that is endemic to AS trailers, especially near the bathroom.
I would guess that even if you spent hours meticulously applying the wall paper, it would soon peel and slip in the moist atmosphere and bouncy, flexing walls as you travel.
Could you achieve the look you want with paint instead?
ah thanks for that, yeah i thought it might be the case. yeah i might just paint it a different colour or see how it starts to feel once it fills out more. Id imagine it would be pretty tricky to get right. especially for someone that has never done it before.
