Upholstery

Does anyone know how many yards we need to cover sofa cushions and dinette for a 2012 25rb? Thanks!

Depends.

Plain fabric or vinyl with no nap will be the least, a plaid, stripe or print with a repeat can take quite a bit more.

Having really good upholstery professionally done can be expensive (taste throw up in the back of your throat expensive!)... but "do it yourself" is for a pretty experienced seamstress/tailor.

Sail Rite sells heavy duty machines, fabric AND has excellent how to videos that would show you how to measure for fabric, how to make piping, and how to make patterns for the cushions, etc.

www.sailrite.com if memory serves.

Oh, and buy new foam for the cushions or all your work will look like crap as the old stuff deteriorates.

Ultraleather

We're ordering ultraleather and taking it to an upholstery shop where we live but didn't know how much to order...? It's a solid print. Good point about the foam..I think we'll do that now!

Hi -- I'm going to have my dinette reupholstered and also need to know how many yards to purchase. What did you end up discovering?

Thanks!
