Steam Cleaning cloth walls?

i just purchased a 2001 Safari 25SS. It is in pretty good shape but the cloth on the walls is pretty dirty in some places. I am thinking about steam cleaning the walls. Is there any reason not to do this? Is there a better way to clean the fabric on the walls?

I wouldn't be afraid steam would loose the glue. I have spot cleaned mine using s Bissell Little Green machine with Simple Green in it.
